DukanData was built inside a working shop, for the day a shop actually has: a queue at the counter, a supplier's bill to enter before the stock goes on the shelf, a customer who will pay on Saturday, and an accountant asking for the GST figures on the 10th.
Why it exists
Most billing software is made for an office. A shop is not an office. The internet drops, the printer is a 3-inch thermal roll, three people share one counter, and the owner wants to know — on their phone, at night — what came in and what went out. DukanData is built around those facts, not around a spreadsheet.
What we believe
- The counter never stops. A bill is made in a second, on a Windows PC that keeps billing with the internet down, and reaches the shop the moment it is back.
- One set of books. The bill, the stock, the customer's dues, the supplier's balance and the GST figures all move from the same entry. Nothing is typed twice.
- Your data is yours. Every shop is walled off from every other, down to the database. Ask for all of it any day, and we send it to you.
- Plain words. Screens say what a shopkeeper says: bill, dues, day end, order list. No jargon.
Who makes it
DukanData is made and sold by DukanData, in India. We answer the phone ourselves, and every shop that joins is set up by a person on its first call — its details, its branches, its bill numbering, its items from the owner's own Excel sheet.
