The counter app for Windows does: bills are made, numbered and printed with the internet down, and reach the shop the moment it is back. The browser version needs internet, as any website does.

Not yet. DukanData runs in a browser on a computer, laptop or tablet, and on Windows PCs at the counter. Reports and the day-end figures reach the owner on WhatsApp, which is where most owners read them.

Yes. Send us your items, customers, suppliers and opening balances as an Excel or CSV — from your old software or your supplier — and a person at DukanData brings them in for you on your first call.

Yes — 2-inch and 3-inch thermal rolls, with the cash drawer opening on a cash bill, as well as A4 invoices on an ordinary printer. The counter app talks to the printer directly; the browser prints through the usual print dialog.

Any USB or Bluetooth scanner that types what it reads. Scan to add a line; a code the shop does not know is said at once. Labels with barcodes can be printed for items that have none.

Yes. Each counter has its own login and, if the shop likes, its own shift with its own drawer count. Every bill carries who made it.

No. Each role has a discount limit in percent and in rupees. Past it, the till asks a manager to approve on the spot — with a PIN, a code from their phone, or a WhatsApp reply from wherever they are.

Yes. Scan a QR code once from the shop's phone, and bills, reminders and reports go from that number. Customers see the shop, not DukanData. Unlink it whenever you like.

A customer gets their bill when it is made, and a reminder of dues only when somebody in the shop presses Send. There are no marketing messages unless the shop writes and sends them.

Every line carries its rate and HSN; the bill works out CGST and SGST or IGST; the reports give the GSTR-1 figures, the HSN summary and purchases with input tax, and DukanData makes the JSON file the GST portal takes. Your accountant checks and files.

Yes. Set the GST rate to 0 and the bills print without tax. Register later and the same items start carrying tax from that day.

By UPI, from inside DukanData: the screen shows a QR code with the amount, you pay from any UPI app and type the UTR, and a person confirms it — usually the same working day. A receipt reaches your WhatsApp.

The shop carries on for 7 days while reminders go out. Then it is paused: everything can still be opened and read, and bills already made on a counter PC still arrive, but nothing new is written until a payment is confirmed. See the refunds and cancellation policy.

No. Every shop's rows are locked to that shop in the database itself, and pictures are private to the shop. Our privacy policy says exactly who can see what.

Any day you ask: every table as a spreadsheet, every picture, and a checksum for each. We send it to you the same day, including while the shop is paused.

On servers in India, with backups taken through the day, kept away from the server and rehearsed every week.
