Your data, your copy, and who can see it

One shop cannot see another

Every shop's rows are locked to that shop in the database itself. A screen, a report, a counter PC or a bug cannot hand one shop's items, bills or customers to another — the database refuses before the software is asked.

Pictures and files

Logos, signatures and item photos are kept in the shop's own private folder and shown only inside the shop's own session. None of them is at a public address.

What support can do

To help with a call, DukanData's support may open your shop and look: read only, for a reason written down, for 60 minutes at most, with every page recorded. Support cannot change a bill, a price or a setting in your shop: nothing in it changes.

Backups

Backups are taken several times a day and kept away from the server, and a restore is rehearsed every week so that a backup is known to open.

Taking a copy

Ask DukanData for a copy of all your data, any day, including while the shop is paused: every table as a spreadsheet, every picture, and a checksum for each file. It is sent to you within the day.

Closing the account

Ask, and the account is closed. The data is kept for 90 days in case you come back or want a copy, and may be deleted for good after that. The privacy policy has the whole of it.
